On 05/12/06 a residence north of Amarillo in Potter County was burglarized. Among various items that were taken in the burglary is a 45.cal Thompson Machine Gun in the case like that pictured above. This weapon is brand new and at the time of the burglary had not been fired. The gun, case, a loaded 30 round drum magazine and a loaded 30 round stick magazine were all taken. The weapon is not a fully automatic version. Also taken in this burglary is a Buck/Schrade knife collection containing 30 knives in a wood case with a glass front.
